anyone done this on the Magnum...?

i took out the 2 scres under the rubber mat in front of the gearshifter, and then removed the 3 bolts in the arm rest tray, but the damn thing will not pull back...

also the 2 "ears" that clip in at the front of the unit snapped off in there, so they are not holding it in...

is there something else holding this thing in...?

getting very frustrated...

 

dunno man, never had it apart. Trying to put the new cupholders in?

 

yeah... this is more work than i bargained for...

i hate tearing apart car interiors... [:'(]

 

i hope i can get an answer on this by tomorrow afternoon...

 

i also have the heated seat controls on that lower trim piece where the ashtray is located...

i'm not sure if there is something there holding it in...

well, i finally figured it out...

the diagram i had failed to mention the 2 scres behind the heated seat controls panel...

nice...

got the new cupholder in... looks 100x better IMO... as i never use the cupholders for drinks...

 

I don't especially like the Magnum cupholder either, they should take a cue from VW...
