Default Headlamp Question

I just picked up an '05 RT and it's the first vehicle I've had in the last few years without headlamps that turn on automatically when it gets dark. It has the headlamp delay when you shut the vehicle off, but that's it. Doesn't anyone know if this is a feature that can be programmed into the existing system or if parts are available to change over to automatic headlamps?
Not a major issue, it's just that the other vehicles I currently have do have this feature and I find myself forgetting to turn on the headlamps on the RT.

Thanks

Just as FYI, you MUST have the Auto-Climate control for the auto-headlight to work. Also, some are having problems with the sensor and having the lights turn on/off.

It's that simple. Picked my 05 Mag up Thursday and did the mod that evening by grinding the 3 o'clock tab off with a dremel. Didn't disconnect battery. It worked immediately with no problems. Go for it!

For me, I don't like headlights that turn on automatically, I would rather control that function myself.

And I don't like daytime running lights either........just an old fert.

I did the mod with the switch still in the dash, didn't disconnect the battery and it worked immediately. You gotta love those no cost mods.
Thanks again for the info.

Did someone remove the thread from lxforums.com? When I click the link it isn't there... perhaps someone at "Ma Mopar's" house caught on and put a kybosh on the subject? Can someone please e-mail me the photo instructions? kww@engineer.com

Friend at work has an `05 R/T and wants the auto headlights. I don't think my wife's car is eligible since the little sensor isn't on the dash but please correct me if I am mistaken.

Thanks,
Kris W.
