I'm talking about the plastic dashboard piece that contains the words off, start, acc, etc?

I've noticed in some pictures that it's white lettered, and mine is all dark and just etched into the plastic.

I'd like to get a cover or sticker...whatever that goes over it to make that lettering stand-out a bit more...but I'm having trouble finding anything.

I don't think one's available from the dealer with the white letters.

You can easily remove it by carefully slipping a putty knife behind the edge and slowly lifting it up. Just use some white paint, dab it into the recessed letters, then use a rag dipped in laquer thinner to wipe away any paint on the surface of the ring. Let it dry and snap it back in place.

That would certainly be WAY cheaper than buying one from the parts counter.

 

Yeah, nice call on that one. i may do just that. perhaps that is what the others have done.
