My 1st burnout with my 05 Mag R/T
Yesterday the wife and I went to a cruise in at our local Speed Shop and they had some drag cars doing burn outs. One was a 1968 RoadRunner Hemi. What a blast to see. After the evening was winding down, getting ready to leave... I said what the heck, I backed into the spot where the drag cars were doing burnouts ~ NO Water~, put my Hemi in Autostick 1st gear, turned off ESO, opened my DMH electric cut outs and nailed the throttle. I was SHOCKED, my car just sit there smoking the rear tires, filling the wheel wells with tons of smoke and my car was really LOUD! What a blast! I have 20" 2010 Challenger SRT wheels with Goodyear F1 Supercar tires on the rear; size 255x45x20.
Then...... on the way home I thought ~ Hmmmm, I wonder what these tires would cost; not that mine are worn out, but just curious and when I looked 'em up ~ Holy COW ~ those are EXPENSIVE. Guess I'll hafta be more conscious and start dropping some extra coins into the piggy bank ~ LOL~
