Nope. Still not fixed

Stats
Repair attempts: 2
Days undriveable: 15

I am, however, very impressed with how well the Jeep Liberty loaner is holding up to my frustration. . .these suckers appear able to take a good bit of abuse.

Just heard from the service dept. They say I can pick it up tomorrow. Running perfectly. . . hmmm. . .heard that one before.

BTW, Jimmy the F, they say they replaced the transmission computer, but say they couldn't find any shorts around the E-brake mechanism or anywhere else. They say they clearead the wiring out of the way of the mechanism "just in case". . .

Like you've said before, this looks like fix #2, and I don't expect it'll be right yet. This way I can only be pleasantly surprised.

Maybe my dashboard will fall off?

Diet Vanilla Mack,
So they haven't replaced the Wiring Harness yet? If so, disregard the below statement and good luck... But I think...

It is the wiring harness that is bad. Note, bad, not really a direct short, more likely a nick or half cut. If there was a short that you could detect with a Meter, the Computer would pick up on it. But you have a Defective Wiring Harness, even the Dealer said that they fixed it, drove it twice and it was fine... Then it breakes on you when you drive it. Faulty... Not reliable... (The single most strongest arguement for a Lemon Law But Back, "I spent money on a new car, so I had RELIABLE transportation...) Intermitant... Let your Service Manager know that some of the other Wiring Harnesses installed around the time of your car's Build Date have went bad, resulting in the exact same symptoms as your car has. If that doesn't help, well like I said before, good luck... Took me 45 Days and (5) Service trips for my total fix...

Note: I also got a Liberty as one of my (5) Loaner cars I got for my Service(s). Nissan Sentra, Magnum LE, Jeep Liberty, Nissan Armada, Dodge Dakota...

Keep us updated...

Got it back today. So far so good. . .After driving the three dogs I had been in as loaners for so long, it felt like driving a friggin rocket ship. . .
