Painted Calipers
I love those wheels obiwan! Of course the photo I posted is of the Mag SRT8. What kind of wheles are those? I probably have them somewhere in my Magnum file that is now pushing 150-200 info sites. Whoops! Went back to photo and see they're Welds. Have a set of Welds on my current ride. Look real nice. That's a real high resolution pic but couldn't get the tire size. Looks like 22's.

I like these over the 4 piston brembos...

6 piston wilwoods, trust me, they stop with authority.

Only 20's.
The Wilwood kit for the front, with rotors and hats, pads and mounting kit was around $2000. Check out http://www.tceperformanceproducts.com Todd is very helpful and knowledgeable.
I have a few more pics @ http://www.thegriffinclan.com/magnum if you care to look around?

Looks like you can spend upwards of $3500 - $4000 on the Wildwoods if you go for the "whole chingaderra"! Nice set up though.
20's? Hmmmmmmmmm. Same as stock on the SRT8. Save me some time and give me a model# on the Welds please.
First I want to see how well the stock SRT8 wheels polish up and was thinking of doing the stamped SRT on the wheels in Bremo Red and then sealing them. On that note, does anyone have any experience with "forged aluminum wheels" as far as polishing and sealing or simply chroming or powder coating them?
obi,
Just went thru your pics! Man, that's the look I want for my SRT8! Was getting off the Dodge Ram emblem hard on the tail gate? e-mail me @ kking3@socal.rr.com if you don't mind. Don't want to clutter this forum with more questions.

From what I have read/heard you won't be able or want to use the SRT wheels on a regular edition as the knuckle is different which creates a different offset.
These wheels have become some what of a mystery, http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Displ...=Chrome+Plated has them as evo penza 5 SL, they are forged, very light @ 26lbs each and kind of pricey @ $663 per rim.
Weld http://www.welddistribution.com/ has them but not in that model number. When I first found them, I had a friend who is a manager at americas tire call weld to get them for less $$, weld told him they were going to make them then, they decided not to and were not available. I don't know if they are an exclusive to tire rack or what the deal is.
Emblem was easy to take off, let her sit in the sun for a bit, then just pull on it, used WD40 to take the residue off.
