My 05 Magnum rolls even when the car in park. This started happening yesterday.

Has anyone ever experienced this? What is the fix? Any sugesstions?

I am thinking about taking it to the dealer Monday to have the trans serviced and maybe they can look for any broken parts in the oil.

 

I heard the 5 speed automatic tranny is Mercedes that is probably the weak spot on this car.

 

Does that have a 4 speed in it? I know of a recall for that specific problem, if it is.

 

It is a 4 speed auto.

 

The recall was for a cup plug bracket. They were installed in the tranny case to keep the park pawl anchor shaft in the correct position. The recall is E14. I would check and see if your car is involved.
