What did that hood set you back? Where did you get it? Is it built for the Magnum or did the shop have to do some work to it. The pics I have found are just that, pics, no hard info on how to get one. thanks again.

Hemi_Hearse,
Company called Classic Design Concepts. And yes it is made for the Magnum the top purple thumbnail above in your post is the demo car for there company. You can find them on the web at www.classicdesignconcepts.com. The hood was $995.00 I believe.

It goes on pretty good, but you have to spend some time getting it aligned just right. You basically cut a hole in your factory hood and this bolts the the motor where the factory engine cover was. All in all I am happy with the design and layout, but it does not seal against the hood so I am having to make some seals for that. Even with that said in the rain the motor still does not get wet since the underside is bigger then the hole in the hood and has a gutter for rain to collect and run out through channels in the bottom. I just don't like seeing the gap that it creates if you look real hard. So I am going to get some weather stripping and create a seal to go around the shaker to seal against the hood.

JSkwarek,
What was part of the kit, just the shaker and the Intake system, do I have that right. So you use your stock hood? So it is a functional Ram Air, Cold Air? Sorry, I am not at all versed in any of this, but the Magnum begs to be modified, so I better learn this stuff!

Had I read more of the site, it is the factory hood. But is it a functional CAI or Ram Air?

It is just a CAI not really ram air. The scoops trap the air coming in and run it down to the factory air box. You take the top of your factory air box off and replace the air clearner with the included cone style K&N. This is where the CAI come into affect. Some people concider this RAM air I really concider it just CAI.
