i just noticed that dodge cleaned up some of the mess under the cover on the '06 hemis as compared to the '05s. i don't have any wires crossing over the top of the intake like the '05 do. i don't know where they went, they're completely invisible. it looks like the '06 got cleaned up more like the 6.1 hemi. i just need those half covers over the heads now. just a thought.

 

But the 05's have a longer warranty.........................

Try this test to see which year Hemi is better:

1) Open your Hood with (1) Hand only
2) Push the Hood up to a 45 Degree Angle, or more, with (1) Hand Only and take 3 steps back
3) Walk back up to the car and swing your arm vertically from the left side of the car, to the right side of the car, just over Uni-Belt Assembly... Frantically and HARD!

Just done performing this test on the 2005 Magnum RT. No problem...

My friend with the 2006 could not get past step #1.

You are supposed to open your Hood in front of your friends, with a Can of Soda/Beer in your hand, stand back and gawk, then go over and point out all of the cool features under the hood, just like in the Dealer Ads...

i guess this is an '06 hemi too. it's not so bad.
