Well....I finally got to change something noticeable on my Magnum. I did add a K 'n' N air cleaner last week.....but that's pretty minor. And I guess I did add the 3.5L HO badges to the side....

....But changing the black headlights to the chrome ones REALLY made a big difference. Well, at least for me. I'm SOOO glad I did this. The chrome lights really add to the Inferno Red Magnums. I can't quit stopping at my front window and looking out at my Mag now with the new hardware.

I should be getting my Fog Lights any day now.....and that should also add nicely to the front. Very slowly I'll get my SXT looking the way I want it.

Looks good. I just installed mopar original R/T style fog lights myself. Where did you get the 3.5 HO badging and can you e-mail me a pic of what it looks like on the car? I also have an inferno red 3.5 sxt

 

The 3.5L bages can be obtained at through Dodge. They're part of an optional appearance package (now standard) on SXT's. They weren't cheap though......$100 Canadian (after taxes). But well worth it as far as I'm concerned.

Lyle you paid $100 for those badges? Man I wish mine would have came off in descent shape. The lights look good. Now you just need a grill and you will be set on the front. I took my car to my first show since getting her. I parked away from the main show because I'm technically not ready to show her yet. I walked around and then back to my Mag which had a crowd around. About that time my salesman at HiFi Buys came out and wanted to see the finished product. I walked up, hit the alarm and opened my gate. You should have seen the looks on the faces, the oohs and ahs. I loved it. This is what its all about.

If your hookup falls through on the grill, I may still be up for changing mine out. I keep going back and forth but I think thats what I'm missing for my front to make it different. The offer still stands, $50 US. Let me know.

Brandon....Yeah the badges ended up a hair over $100. Not cheap.....but I'm pretty satisfied. Even if you would've sent me yours, I probably would have done it anyways. It's the perfectionism in me.

I'm glad to hear you had a good audience for your first show. I doubt I'll ever take mine to show it. When done, it'll simply look like an SXT in RT clothing. Good enough for my eyes. And I suspose everytime I stop for the lights it's a bit of a car show.......I look around and most eyes are on my Mag.

I'll certainly take you up on the grille offer. I've been plastering the need for an RT grille all over the different Magnum forums, and have hardly heard a 'boo' on it. I foolishly let a free one slip through my fingers....then the dude on another site that wanted 25 bucks for his has dropped off the planet. $50 is the max I'll pay.

Ltldad....I do like the TRex grille, but there's just something about the stock RT grille that jumps out at me. I've pretty well looked at every aftermarket grille around, and still keep going back to the RT one.

Lyle, its a deal. I'll go ahead and order my grill tonight and as soon as I get it, I'll do the install and we can settle up. I don't think the shipping should be more than $20-30 US. I'll double check and we can go from there. I'm going to back out, I've settled on the TRex grills, both upper and lower. I decided to the grill instead of the front spoiler, just because I'm not real pleased with the ones available. I'll keep in touch with you over the next few days.
