Default Tire pressure sensors

I stopped by my local Big O tire store to have my tire pressure checked. He told me my 2006 Magnum had sensors that would tell me when the tire pressure got low. Something on the dash would light up. I had no idea that this was on my car.
Anyone know about this? He said that this was a new federal law that applies to all 2006 model years.

I also asked him about tires to replace the Contis when they were worn out. He said at this moment Big O has nothing other than Contis in that size to replace them.

Yep, you have them. They don't set a lite off until they drop below 26PSI though. I would continue to check them.

Bob,

Check with a dealer that sells Pirelli, the P7 and the Conti's are the only ones I've found in stock size 225/60/18. I like the Pirelli's, it's what they put on the Euro 300 and 300 Touring.
