Finally found rims I like.
Yeah I seen the Boyds, but I am not a fan of chrome either. Thats why when I saw the Foose, I liked them. I have a tendency to be different. Even if it is as simple as keeping stock rims. This is why I went with silver instead of the midnight blue Magnum. Don't get me wrong I like the blue. But it would keep me from having the new rim bug. What I really want is a set of 17's that look like the Foose. I like lots of sidewall. I won't go below 50/55 series tires. Anymore there are 2 classes of Mags. 1) stocker and 2) and the lowered, 20/22 chromies. This is not a slam, but just not my style. Granted I will be lowering and if I find some 17/18's that are black or silver centers I will get them. To me everyone has the chromies and its getting a dated look. Any more they all look alike. But again, so do the stockers hahahaha.
Dang obiwon..chill out.
I did specifically say "just a personal preference".
Your car looks sick! I should have been more specific. I think large gaudy chrome wheels dont look to great on Mags
I must say..your rims, hood, grill and lights look killer! Very clean..the five stars are nice
I have a red RT, fully stock. Cant afford rims.

To add fire top the great chromie debate. Here is a set of Boyd's on a caddy. hahahah

I was trying to find them when I first got my magnum...they said they were a feeler wheel and wanted to see the public's reaction before they released it....I saw it first at SEMA last Novemeber...it's a badass wheel....and if you like it, I don't see anything wrong with spending 4K on wheels!
I love the Torq-Thrust II Custom Offset (Series 405) 2-piece polished alloys too. Those are the only chromies I like. I went to the AR website and they are part of the Custom Offset series. This is the problem that most of us have been running into, is the lack of wheel choice without spending the big $$$$. I was wondering what size rims are they 17 or 18". I am a fan of the meaty tires and not the rubberbands, but to each their own. And what width tires are you running? Thanks in advance

Just went to american racing website an they have these This is pretty dang close to what I would be looking for. Looks like they make these on order basis. Not going to be cheap i'm sure, but they got to be cheaper than $4k
Here is the website.
AR Rims
Found this 255/55/17 kumho tires that are only .04" bigger in diameter, but 10" vs 8.5" section width and only $82. And will fit on the stock 17X7" rim. Hmmm now to see if the car will handle the .75" for rubbing
Kumho ECSTA 711
