06 Nav Radio: Aux Input?

06 Nav Radio: Aux Input?
Hi,
I see that the 2006 AM/FM/CD radio now proudly proclaims an aux input.
Has anyone spent enough time with a 2006 model with the Nav radio to know for sure whether it allows auxialry input?
And if it doesn't, what are people doing to get their iPods into the Nav systems? FM modulation is awful; there must be some kind of hardwired solution.
