A Dodge dealer in my area is advertising on TV to sell Dodge vehicles at the employee price, minus any factory discounts until Aug 1.


What is the employee price of a Magnum SXT with RWD? What factory discounts are available for Magnums?

 

By what I have seen so far, the employee pricing does not include the LX cars..bummer

 

Chrysler's offer of up to 3,500 dollars in cash back on already discounted vehicles takes its campaign one step beyond those of GM and Ford. Chrysler has also said it will offer a similar discount program in Canada. All programs are set to expire August 1. Vehicles excluded from the program include the 2005 Chrysler 300, Dodge Magnum, Dodge Sprinter van, Dodge Viper, Jeep Liberty Diesel and all SRT models.

I drove to Swift Dodge in Sacramento to look at a Charger RT and an STR 10 Viper. The sales guy said he would sell me a 2006 Charger RT for $3000 under Sticker that day only. He was probably counting on me trading my Magnum in so I don't know if he was working funny money territory or offering a legit deal. Anyway, I was just looking, but they did give me and my girlfriend a cool Charger Daytona T-Shirt for visiting.

I was just wondering if you test drove the Charger R/T, if so how did it compare to your Magnum? Are you in the market for a new vehicle, or just wanted to see the Charger in person?

We were just looking, and yes I really wanted to see the Charger in person. They had a beautiful dark grey R/T there. I am also pondering a return to Viper ownership (I owned a 1999 GTS ACR a few years back) and I took a few moments to look at a couple they had on the lot. I am really looking forward to seeing the Charger R/T Daytona as well. I am very happy with the magnum, especially when the tempuratures hit the century mark. The AC in my car is awesome!

I’m glad that your happy with the your Dodge Magnum! You’re also a very lucky man to have owned a Dodge Viper. I would recommend staying in contact with your local Dodge dealership to find out when they get a Dodge Charger Daytona R/T for you to ogle.
