Default flowmaster system comming off

after about three weeks, something broke loose inside the x-pipe and right muffler. the system is comming off right now for inspection. i hate working in the garage when it's 102 outside, but i can't take the noise any more. we'll see what is causing the rattle. damn flowmasters, you've gotta love 'em.

that blows man.
I put my Magnaflows on the same time I did the headers. First time I got on it testing it out, it blew alot of Magnaflow weld spillage into a sensor, throwin up a light and makin it not idle anymore. Took 4 hours to troubleshoot.
I'd ventire to say that's what it is in this case as well... those little weld ball nipple thingies that came off the surface of the stainless.
My magnaflows were done pretty sloppy. Spillage all over the cans, which I painted black anyway so it didn't matter, but they did get some on the tips too, which is just sloppy.
I like to think they have a robot welding these things. Otherwise, they have some bossman's kid brother with a torch up in that bitch at 6 bucks an hour.

drink lotsa water, man It's a hot one.

I'd venture to say that it was an O2 sensor that was affected, but those are located upstream of the mufflers, not downstream. In that case, it was probably the headers that caused the problem, not the mufflers.

flowmasters up and running again, but it took a week to remove a question mark shaped piece of steel stuck inside the right muffler. it would have been easier if the system wasn't fully welded. try shaking and rolling the complete exhaust system to see if you can get something out. i was very close to windowing the muffler to see what broke loose inside of it. it finally came out the resornator. i just finish re-installing the system and it sounds perfect. i hope nothing else breaks loose.
