what I did was tap off of the cig lighter. They sell wire taps at radioshack. Or do like I did and just disconnect the lighter and plug the wires in there. Of course Dodge has to make anything complicated. See if you lighter works with the ignition off (smokers package). If not not a prob. If it does, go the rear fuse block and move the cig lighter fuse(#18 i think) to the ign position. The fuse has 3 slots. The middle one will have a fuse leg in it. DO NOT USE the left over plug from the stock radio. It is for the CANBUS and can create all kinds of trouble and noise. Hope this helps!

Here is the system that I started out with. The up facing subs would reflect off of the glass. Sounded damn good, but I got hooked on db drag racing, and wound up with the latest incarnation(on website). When I hauled stuff, I would put on some kicker grills that allows for full excursion. The problem with using a 15" is that it has 8 1/2 mounting depth. If you take out the fiberglass tray in the back and mount a box, 7" is the max box hieght that you can do because of the hatch latch. I had to make a slant box for the Treo that I am using because of the need for a larger box since its ported. (7"rear(11"front))X39"wX19"d. The 15" requires 1.5ft3 of internal baox space. Now if you take out the spare, you can mount a deeper box on the driver side and mount the amp(s) on the passengerside. Trim down the trifold cover and you can still use it for storage. If you are looking for SPL 3.0ft3 is the min for a ported box with 6.0ft3 for VentedSPL/DeepBass (MaximumEnclosureVolume). The 3.0ft3 might be able to do, but the 6.0 is not an option for the way you want to set up your system. I also included a pic for the stock amp location. Here is the link to the L5 Owners Manual with all the specs.
