Bugs the heck out of me, too, even though I bought the mag for much less than the Germans would pay. The 300C Touring HEMI costs 51,000 Euros...OUCH. Mine was the equivilent of 28,000 Euros in dollars. I don't tell anyone what it cost me...tee hee.
