Awwee, much better! The silver Mags definately look better with the silver lights instead of the black. Now you just need the grill to complete the scenerio and you'll be set. I had someone PM me about a trade for my RT lights, but I don't know if the deal is going to go through. I'm looking to trade my RT lights and RT grill for an SXT set (if anyones interested).

I think Im going to keep the black grill. I like the way there is some contrast. IMO not too much and not too little. Plus I looked at the grill when I had the top of the front fasica off. You cant get to the bottom fasteners of the grill easily. They are right against the bumper foam. Might be able to force it, but with my luck I would break something. Here is another pic I found somewhere with a "speed" grill. If I were to do it, I think I would go with black powder coat. And also found a pic of the stock SXT rims with the edges polished.

Those are the wheels I originally had on my Mag when it was stock. I liked them a lot, but wanted something that was totally different, thats why I went with the all black.

If I had gone on the "Darkside" I would have too. When I bought the Magnum, I had just finished a trip from Omaha, NE to Panama Beach, FL and the 11/15mpg in the '02 Ram 1500 killled me. Went to one place in Iowa and they had a Black SXT with a $3,000 markup. Went to a place in Omaha and they had the Silver one at list. Too bad I was $3000 upside down on the loan. Now I get 18/30, smartest think I ever did.

The rims you had, where they modified by the dealer or came like that? I guess I take a look at the Dodge site and see what they offer.

 

The wheels I had were factory. They were part of the RT appearance package. I believe some the RT appearance packages came with the RT wheels, the others with the polished 17". They didn't look bad at all. Its really funny, I also had a Dodge Ram I traded in on the Mag, an '03 Hemi. I liked the truck, but it wasn't me. I traded my '01 S10 Xtreme in on it. I loved my s10, but it was a regular cab and was so small. Trips were hell. I took two 800 mile round trips within a 2 month period and decided I was not doing it again. I traded my S10 in when it was in its prime. I was totally tricked out, dropped, wheels, stereo, all bolt-ons, etc. I lost all my pictures that were on disk so I have nothing to remember her by.

And back to to the funny world, I too traded a S-10 4X4 on the Ram. It was used and someone traded the Ram for a Hemi Ram. Being in Omaha and had some bad winters I traded in a 95 S-10 fully decked out on the 2000 4X4. It was the biggest POS I have ever owned. Now the 95 was sweet. I too lost all my pics other than this one. It was before I dropped it 2/3 with spindles/springs.
