Hi all!
I am having trouble with my 2008 Magnum 3 dvd/gps system. I can't seem to get the dvd movies to work while driving. Anyone else have this problem?

DISCUSSION:
Due to certain state regulations, a function for disabling the front seat video option has
been incorporated into the vehicle. This function will enable or disable the radio's ability to
play video in the front seat. If enabled, the radio will play video when the vehicle is in Park
(Automatic Transmission) or when the parking brake is set and vehicle speed is zero
(Manual Transmission). If disabled the radio will NOT play video in the front seat in any
operating mode.

 

Yeah, when the car is in a moving gear the video gets disabled. There is a module kit you can get that bypasses the safety feature but I can't find it as I'm on my phone here. Try doing a search or someone might post it up here for you. I think it costs around $300.
