Minor mod to the SRT8 today. What do you think?

That's a bummer but look on the bright side. My gas milage, after 700 miles, is now DOWN to 10.4 from 10.7! It's those damn Zoomers. Just gotta hear the roar at all times. Haven't used the "D" selection on the shifter sicnce I got them. I lov em and I'm having a ball!
You have the best of both worlds. Muscle and Milage! Hang in there!

I'm still ticked that my dealer didn't let me know that the SRT/8 was coming out so soon, I would have waited a few more weeks and bought that. I thought they were coming out much later so I never asked.
Oh well, I guess I'll double pay my payments for the next 6 months so that I can trade it in for one and not be at a loss on the deal.

You're right about that. But then I would have had to do the calipers too, because I think the matching colors on the wheels look great. Plus, the SRT8 badge has a similar red on it and I thought this tied all of it together.
But I think black with black calipers would definitely look good if you, either, skinned the molding and badging or "flat-blacked" out the badges and removd all the chrome from the bumpers and molding for that black-on-black-on-black look.
I may surprise you and do that in the future! It was one of my other ideas for this car.

Really good. I would have gone with Black myself, only cuz I dislike red!!!!! Great work though, I think cars that are top tier packages should come with more distinctive badging/accessories.
