Default 2007 SXT Temperature control light out

The circle light around the two left termperature control dials (fan control and temperature) went out. How can I remove the plate to replace the light. Do the ***** also come off to remove the panel? Thank you.

I thought I'd keep this up to date in case it helps anyone. I have the temperature control system with just three dials; fan, temperature, setting. The console around it comes off by carefully pulling it from the bottom and up, undoing all the clamps which simply come out. Once loose the two right side temperature control wiring harnesses easily come out. I can't figure out the right one, which seems to have a clamp but still doesn't come out when unclamped. It probably just needs a good pull, but the wiring is long enough that I can move the cover out of the way, so there's no need to chance it. The temperature control box then comes off with four very small corner screws on the back side.

But then there's a new problem. The three indicator lights are in socket bases soldered to the circuit board. I discovered you can buy these lights at an auto supply store because they're not made to be replaced. Dodge expects the entire circuit board to be replaced.

I carefully broke it off, and tomorrow I'll go to an electric store I now to get a similar lamp which I'll wire the leads through the base (It's not hard to extract it once it's off the board), solder to the two leads and a drop of superglue on the bottom of the base, and it should be all set.

A lot of work this first time, but after this it would only take about 15 minutes to complete and and $5.00 lamp is certainly cost effective to replacing the circuit board.

It's not possible (at least for me) to find the correct light at any auto store and it's not carried by Radio Shack. I went to an electronics store and purchased a 12 volt 354 milliamps .2" lamp. Since I had the board out I decided to change all three lamps. I attached as mentioned in the previous post and replaced all the parts. Everything works perfectly. The brilliance is the same as the rest of the instrument cluster and they dim properly.

I don't know how much a new circuit board would cost; I spent $2.50 for four lamps and about 30 minutes taking apart the dash console, replacing the lamps and reinstalling.
