Regrets?
ORIGINAL: old Bob N.E. CA
Regrets? Not at all. If the Greenie Weanies think they can stop me from driving the car I like, they have another think coming. I do not like paying for the high priced gas, but I will not give in to the Socialists that are trying to put me on a bicycle. Just look at China. Would you like to live that way?
If we can stop the environmentalists, and start drilling offshore and in Alaska we can come back to reasonable gas prices.
I have been around since 1932, and have seen gas at .23 cents a gallon. Albeit I only made from $.50 to a $1.25 an hour in the late 40’s and early 50’s.
I can recall the times that I would stop in at a gas station, order $1.00 worth of gas and the guy would check my oil, radiator, tires, wash windshield, and give me a prize like a brass president coin, or state coin, or a glass tumbler or green stamps. Those days are gone forever.
What think you?

None!! First of all, I have improved my gas mileage over my 2001 Ford Sport Trac. Second, the price of a gallon of gas will be the same no matter what car you drive. So you need only to consider the delta cost; the only factor is that now we need to use Plus or Mid Grade gas instead of Regular. That is the true consideration, unless you want to say you are willing to drive a Toyota Tercel getting 40 miles a gallon. Yeah, I didn't think so!
I don't have regrets regarding gas mileage. I actually think 22-24 MPG on my morning commute is prety decent. My regret is that I knew the Charger was coming out but didn't wait. I am holding out to see if they make a lime green Daytona next year, if they do, I will make the switch then and enjoy the magnum now. I also regret buying a car off the lot with stuff I didn't really want in it (Sun roof specifically).
No regrets here...
But the DC Team should have done a little more research... I mean, like Illy said, where are the Lime Green, Plum Crazy Purple and Hemi Orange Cars? These are a blast from the past right? Only TV was Black and White back then, not all the cars. And on a side note, where the hell did they get Cool Vanilla? Looks like formula baby puke...
