Well, I found out that they were offering employee pricing on the Magnum so I went to test drive what they had. NO RTs left there. Anyway, they had an SXT for $23,900 so I had to drive it. I posted here a few weeks back about my RT experience with fluctuating cabin pressure, and this one did it too!! My passenger noticed it too. My new theory is that the sunroof is moving slightly over bumps (when we feel it) and causing it. My passenger works with a guy who has a 2005 Magnum SXT and does not experience the problem in it. It does not have a sunroof. I think it is just so air tight that any flex causes it. It was strange. I had the AC maxed for our blistering heat today, and that didn't help matters I am sure. It seemed to be better when I turned the fan lower.

I also learned that I need the Hemi for my taste. I was going to drive the Hemi Charger, but I decided not to. I don't want to spend that much money right now.

They had some wicked deals on trucks!!!! How often do you see trucks for $15,000 new?

Employee discounting would be the bomb if it stayed like this permanently =D

I wasn't aware the Magnum's were apart of it though because some list I posted a few weeks ago said that the Mag's and 300's weren't apart of the plan...

I discovered they are offering employee pricing on the 2005 model year vehicles that are sitting on dealer lots. Only that dealer can offer you the pricing.

I found this out while looking for my new RT that I will pick up on Wednesday. $35,000 and change before employee pricing... $32,111 after and that includes a 7/70 bumper to bumper upgrade.

Plus I found the Mineral Gray color that I was looking for... hard to find those.

Ive never noticed any 'pressure'. I do a lot of window down driving though and redwagon told me that opening the back windows a few inches cuts down on that turbulence though, and that works. Too bad they dont make the rear side windows pop open from the back like the minivans.

Yep, my 2005 SXT AWD was on the lot for $32,060 and the employee price was $28,803. My dealer also extended the employee price to the located vehicles he found at other dealers.

After negotiating what I thought was a decent number on my trade-in, I asked if he could do better than EP. He offered an extra $700 for my trade if I bought the SXT on the lot, but would go no lower than EP on a located vehicle. So I took the one on the lot.

For the record, we have not experienced the cabin pressure issue (car has sunroof) and we were in the car with the AC on for 4 hrs yesterday.

Hey Viper, allow me to retort on that comment. Some of those employee deals are more expensive than the rebates and incentives that were offered before the program. A Ram 1500 was cheaper before "Employee pricing". ( I work for a Dodge dealer, so I see the figuires)

Also, we all complain how Americian cars don't hold value. These incentives are what kill the value of these cars. You buy an 05 in April, then by September you could buy it for thousands less. Ever see Honda or Toyota with incentives? Hardly ever. Secondly, the used car market just got flooded with trades, so now those are worth nothing because we need to get rid of them. And last but not least, this program has forced consumers into the car market that would not have been ready for another year or so. That means empty showrooms in the near future.

I wish they would cut the crap with these gimicky programs and just lower the damn prices to offer a good deal. Do you get where I'm coming from?
