Default Inside mirror dumb ????

I went to reajust my inside mirror after getting car back from dealer for radiator bracket recall and third brake light seal repair (whole other story). Anyway I noticed the mirror seems to be loose it moves up and down real easy, never noticed this before. I think it is broken but really can't remember. So does anyone know about this. Sorry for this crazy question.

Ah...which type of mirror do you have (UConnect or non-U)? My UConnect is slightly wobbles when I adjust. But once adjusted it does not move.

Mine is non connect, just night and adjustable. wiggles up and down. They did take test drive as had noice up front. Then when I got in had to adjust and noticed the "new" wiggle.

Had the same problem....Tighten the screw at the bottom of the base that attaches it to the windshield.

I agree, sometimes the simple things are the most troublesome. I not yet tried to fix it.

Gads, now really feel dumb, it was easy fix with torx bit. Guess when I started this it was dark and did not see the small screw. Now fixed and no more wiggle..

Thanks to all for the help

Arghhh,
Mine too has the wobble... Seems the Canadians were afraid of stripping the darn thing, or the Torque Gauge was set too low... Still need to fix, but will need to get some Torks, if that's what it is... Weak! But hey, I'm no where near Perfect... I'm not even in the same county... I probably would have been the **** to strip out all the Mirror Brackets...
