key batteries
i've had my mag for just about a year and 3 months now. my battery key died on me last night. i brought out my other key and it works. has anyone experienced short, key battery life? i would expect it to last more than 1 year. anyways, i wont replace that battery until this battery dies... just wanted to get that off my shoulders.

Are you sure you didn't wash your key in the Laundry, or drop it in Water, that would cause a short? Maybe the Key itself is bad... I've had my RT since 11/30/04, and it still works farther away that I would think, but you do have to have a clear line of sight. It won't work very far through other Cars, around corners and stuff... Hey, take that piece of crap back to the Dealer.... 30,000 Mile Bumper to Bumper Warranty, right? If you place the Key in the Ignition, it's between the Front and Back Bumpers, right? Give 'em hell...
