Default Buying a 2006 SXT Magnum with 76000 miles Should I get an extended warrenty?

Hey guys,

About to buy a 2006 awd sxt with the 3.5 motor. I am debating on the extended warrenty? what are your thoughts? I put about 17000 miles a year on the car.

Definitly buy it... We are about to put up our 2006 SXT up for sale too. We bought the extended warranty on it when we bought it in 06 and it expired in 2011. We just had a ton of issues with the magnum. So just to be cover i would.
Can I ask whats the price on the magnum is?

Thanks for the response. I paid $10,000 for the magnum. 78000 miles very clean in and out. I am noticing a " clunking" sound going over bumps other than that the thing rides very nice. Good luck with your sale.

I would highly recommend buying the extended warranty for the magnum. My 2006 hasn't given me a lot of problems..just minor stuff here and there..i think my fuel pump is going bad..i wish i had the comfort of knowing we had an extended warranty....my wife bought the 2008 Grand Caravan SXT and didn't purchase the extended warranty and now we are having transmission trouble...

I would have to agree with Flatlineguns and Norcal9er, it's nice to have the assurance of a service contract after the factory warranty has expired. To review pre-owned vehicle contract options contact the Business Manager at a Dodge dealer. They will be able to provide information on the type of coverage you are seeking.

If you have any additional questions feel free to ask.
