Hello Anyone. I am new to forums and hope this is the way to ask a question about a problem I am having with my vehicle. The engine light comes on and after a while (2-3 days) it will go out. Then cone on again...I had it to the dealer many times when I had warranty but it wasn't until after it expired they said they found a fault. It was a corroded wire that they cleaned up and it worked like a charm for about 8 months. Does anyone else have a misfire due to a corroded wire and if so do you know where I should start when looking to clean up connections? The error code I got with a OBD2 tester was P040.
