Hi everyone,

I drive a 05 R/T and i have had 0 problems knock on wood... just passed 4000 miles first oil change went smooth no problems, i guess my care was not built on a monday!! and as far as the leak goes it doesnt pay to look now. any water outside is froze cause its like 10 degrees outside. and if anyone wants to know how the R/T handles in snow its not to bad the ESP system works good. but its alot more fun when its off. but its a good thing to know about ill have to look for a leak when i put my new exazust on next week... Flowmaster cat back system.

Love the car.

It IS a REAL problem!!! 2 miles away from the dealership that i just bought my 05' RT AWD the car went into "limp home mode"
I got it to my local dealer "not where i bought it" and they told me it was a flood car!!! The trans fluid looked liked like a strawberry milkshake!
After enough bit@#ing they finaly contacted Star and found out that in production they forgot a seal,
and that condensation from the A/C is leaking into the trans....nice
They flushed it twice, said it works fine, and it did.....but i couldn't help wonder what kind of damage that water did.
So, i brought it to the dealership everyday i could and told them flat out "it's not shifting right fix it"
It shifted fine, but they got so sick of me the replaced the trans!

If anyone has any questions feel free to e-mail me

Ok, I'm new and I think that my problem is related to this water in trans thingy. Can anyone tell me what they're car is doing in detail? Here's my problem. I get in my 2005 Dodge Magnum SXT in the morning and go down the road. On the throttle at about 40 - 60 mph I get a bad vibration from the rear of the car and a bad noise. So bad that it can be heard over on a cell phone if I'm on the phone. I dropped it at the dealer that I purchased it at on Sunday night. Monday morning they called me to tell me to come get a rental, that there is a problem with the transmission. I thought maybe the rear end because of where the vibe is. Anyway, Wednesday they call me to come pick up my car that when they did the recall they put the wrong trans fluid in it and that it's been flushed and all better now. I get in to take it home and as I'm driving, it's still screwed up. I take it back the guy rides with me and of course, it doesn't do anything. I'm still not satisfied and leave in the rental. The next day (Thursday) they call to tell me that they can't get it to do the screwed up thing it's doing to come pickup. So again, Friday I drive down there that morning before work. I make it clear that the car is to sit until I get there and that I want the service writer to ride with me first thing to see what happens. He rides, it happens. I'm pissed because I had to go down there for nothing and leave in my rental while they continue to work on it. Friday afternoon they call and tell me that they have ordered the part, and to bring them the rental back and drive my car until the part comes in. I get pissed all over again but because I'm working can't argue and call my hubby. He finds out that the transmission filler tube is cracked and plastic and they are ordering a new one and when it comes in they'll call. Keep the rental until then. Fine. Monday afternoon they call and tell me to come get my car, it's fixed. I go pick it up, drives fine until Tuesday morning. Happens all over again. Those boneheads are not getting my car back at this point. I'm taking it to another dealer. Sorry this is so long but I'm venting in the process of trying to find out if my problem is the same as everyone elses. Please help. I love my car but this is getting old really quick.

I took my 06 Magnum to the dealer to have it checked for water in the tranny. None was found! They were very good about my concern. I got a copy of the work order in case later I have a problem. I have 5,000 mile, so far I have had no problems with my Magnum. It's a 5.7 Hemi. Has anyone with a 06 Mag had a tranny problem?

All the more reason to drive around with the windows down... Don't use the A/C... I would rather use the extra gas in the pedal, not the temperature...
