My 2005 Magnum R/T began to overheat as I sat in traffic for the first time a couple of days ago. My first instinct was to replace the thermostat, but a friendly Pep Boys parts dealer asked me if the cooling fans were running. As I thought about it, I realized that he was right, and that the fans weren't running at the time. I went out to the parking lot and turned the car on, turned on the AC, and waited for the fans to kick on. There was a clicking sound like they were trying to, but the fans never came on.
I first tried replacing the relays as the cheapest option, but new relays didn't fix the problem. Any thoughts? Do I need to replace the entire fan assembly?
Thanks for any help,
Mac
