Default Missing Fues in Front power dist cener

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, so go easy on me. Im a mechanic myself, but im a bit stumped here.
Ive searched the forum, found similar a complaint, but the thread kind of dropped off without a definite answer.

I have a 2005 Magnum R/T, And I was poking around the front fuse box and noticed that #16 fuse was missing, the owners manual says that, that one is a 20A - Power Train control Module slot.

The car has 120,000 km, and id assume that it has gone this long without it, it runs and drives ok too. I put a 20A fuse in the slot, to see if it triggered any codes, or if it would cause weird shifting, etc, but it didn't. Any ideas as to what it does? Or if i should remove the fuse i put into that slot?

Thanks guys
