Default Magnum tranny question

I need some help. Got a 2006 magnum with a 3.5. My tranny would sometimes shift fine but other times it would not go into overdrive or won't shift back down. If I was to put it in paddle shift mode I can shift it thru the gears. The check engine light came on yesterday. Any help would be great.

Took the car to a shop they ran their scanner and told me that my lead plate that has the input speed sensor built into it was bad, very expensive too.

The Lead Frame yep. The valve body has to come out to change it. The Input, Ouput speed sensors, solenoid actuator terminals and the trans temp sensor are all part of that piece. It a Mercedes transmission. NAG-1
