I average 21-22 MPG during the week, a 42 mile commute, Customer visits, some traffic, some WOT at interchanges, some cruising 75-80 MPH.
Weekends are a different story, about 15 MPG due to heavier foot and shorter trips.
Much better MPG than I ever expected!

Hey,
That's kind of a **** poor question. "All Engines?" What purpose does that serve? Anyway, I voted for 24+, as on Road Trips, I get about 24.5 MPG at 82 MPH. Funny thing is I get worse MPG at 65 MPH than at 75 to 82 MPH... Guess I cover more ground and the RPM doesn't really change, only about 200 RPM or so... City Driving is another story. May not be as bad as L.A. traffic, but it's a close 2nd here in O.C. 14 MPG all day and night long... Now, that is going from 0-45 MPH instantly at EVERY stop. (I really like Red Lights, when before I despised them...) Also, 14 MPG is with no MDS, as I like to shift manually in traffic to save on the brakes... So with that said, I am confused with the Post from Knick Knack 22, who stated an average of 10.5 to 12.5 MPG. That seems low, as I am constantly on it, all stock. Knick Knack 22, are there any mods that you have done to worsen your MPG? Wheels, Exhaust, Intake, etc... I constantly run 89 Octane Fuel and have had these results for just about a year now, even getting better with more mileage...

'05 RT gets around 19 town/26 hwy. I have around 22K on the clock, mileage seems to improve with time. No mods to engine or drivetrain, running Mobil 1 oil. I have noticed a few things....
1) a new air filter really helped mpg- got 29 hwy with it right after the change on a 120 mile trip using cruise and driving the speed limit...no fun, but great MPG for an 5.7 engine.
2) mpg goes in the toilet when my foot gets heavy...no einstein to figure that one out....
3) Tire pressure does make a difference...keep those babys aired up.

On trips we get between 24.5 and 26.5 and back and forth to work around 23. SXT using 89 and not into it much but do run with traffic on the hiway. We really like this car. almost 29,000 miles.
