I hooked up my trailer the other day and there were no brake lights. I then noticed the car brake lights were extremely dim. I unhooked the trailer and the car brakes were still dim, and the 3rd brake light was not on at all. The trailer harness has been on since new, so I don't think that is the problem. With a test meter and the 4-ways on at the trailer plug, the blinkers showed good results, but the brake light was almost dead, except there was a slight buzz in unison with the warning lights. The ground showed solid continuity. Has anyone encountered such a problem?
