Rear suspension sub-frame bushing replacement: Any advice, please..?
Hello,
I need to replace my '05 Magnum R/T's rear suspension sub-frame bushings.
I hear it takes a significant amount of labour to remove it, clear the old rubber bushes out and replace them and the sub-frame.
And if I were to do it, I should replace the rubber bushes with much harder neoprene ones, which would reduce vibrations, give a more connected / less wallow-y ride (especially through corners) and should last longer before they need replacing themselves.
If anyone could shed any light on:
- how long it takes to do
- any methods that would speed the process up
- if neoprene bushes are a good idea (& where to get them from)
- if there are any other components that should be replaced at the same time (to save on effort later down the road)
I'd be most appreciative.
Thank you,
D
