Default 1978 Magnum XE starting engine problem

I have a 1978 Dodge Magnum XE B body and I need some help finding out why the blue wire on the ignition switch heats up when it has power. I have a Haynes book on the car but it doesn't show where it goes. She doesn't have the Spark Control Computer hooked up anymore. She has Cruise control which isn't hooked up and the windshield wiper motor just hums, it doesn't move the blades. I already went to the dealer and they couldn't even look up the car with its vin number it's so old. Its a 360 2 barrel in also. 3 speed automatic, column shift tilt wheel. Has A/C but its not charged. If anyone needs any additional info let me know.

Does the wire itself heat up or is it where it connects to the switch? Need to find out what it is for. You may have to get a factory manual some of the Haynes/Chiltons don't have everything in them.

Default The wire itself

The actual wire heats up, I am sure its getting overloaded and I have a Haynes book. It doesn't show where the wire goes.

Get a factory service manual! It will show where that wire goes.
