S.Florida Car Show
Here's one I plan to attend (my car club is hosting).
The cool thing this year is that cars can get in before the motorcycle procession (which takes hours)
December 4, 2005-- The Cruisers of South Florida, in association with SFPC, are hosting the 2nd Annual Open Car Show at the 18th Annual SFPC Christmas Toys in the Sun Run presented by Rick Case Honda on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at Markham Park, Davie, Florida. Here's your chance to join over 30,000 motorcycles and celebrity Grand Marshall's Steven Tyler, Richie Zambora, Vanilla Ice, and Sheriff Ken Jenne, as they finish their procession from Pompano Harness Track to Markham Park. This show is open to all Customs, Street Rods, Muscle Cars, Antiques, Fast and Furious Street Machines and vehicles of interest, regardless of age. Awards include 40 "Best Of" trophies courtesy of Peterson's Harley Davidson. Show registration is $20 per car and a new unwrapped toy per person. Your registration fee for the Car Show also includes entry to the Toys In The Sun Run Festival for the day. Cars entering the show will have private access to the festival area prior to the arrival of the motorcycle parade. Show time is from 10AM to 5PM and all cars must be parked in the Show Field by 10 AM sharp. All proceeds go to benefit the Joe Dimaggio Children's Hospital Foundation.
