Default Rear leaking Fluid

I recently purchased an 06 Magnum and I had it at the exhaust shop the other day. While up in the air I noticed the rear end pinion seal and or the rear end cover is leaking fluid. The car only has 1000 miles on it. Anybody else have this problem and if so once it has been fixed has it done it again?

Redwagon had the pinion seal leaking on his after about 6 months. They replaced it and I havent heard him complain about leaking again. His is the 3.5 and I know the gear ratio is different than the Hemis, but dont know if the rear end itself is the same or not.

Well just got the news from Dodge the rear half shaft is leaking. They have to drop the rear to replace. Kind of sucks I'll be w/out the car for a few days, but as long as they fix it I'm content

I noticed the same thing, when I changed my oil. Trying to find time to take it in. Right now its just a seep, not much lost.

The rear diff in my wife's 2.7L SE RWD had some dirty seepage when we got it. I'm keeping an eye on it. Rear diff cover looks like it has been serviced as there is orange silicone between the cover and the case. BTW, we bought ours as a rental return with 20k miles on it just under a month ago.
