Oil Change
Oil change is as easy as any vehicle I've worked on (almost). You have to remove the large plastic shield under the engine before you can access the plug and filter. There are four bolts and you will need a 10mm socket to remove them. After removing the cover the plug and filter are easy to reach. Make sure that your used oil container is big enough! Your engine holds 7 qts where most hold 5 or less.
I have two floor jacks and prefer to use the heavy duty plastic car ramps to change my oil.
It takes 6.5 quarts of oil for a oil change, if you put in 7 quarts, you will be slightly overfilled.
I always pour some new oil into the oil filter, to help prevent a dry start up.
I have changed to synthetic oil and change it every 4 months.

It's a little tough to get underneath. I put a floor jack in the jack slot on the right side, and lift the body up enough to decompress the suspension, but still leave the wheel on the ground. After that, it's a cinch. I've also read that it is recommended to replace the plug, as it has a captive gasket between the head of the plug and the pan. I put in a new plug on the last change, was under 5 bucks from the dealer.
