Default Gear selector moves fine but the transmission will not engage.

I was doing a bit of searching and found the shift interlock to be a common problem. The gear switch lever moves from park to drive just fine but once I put it in drive, it's almost like she is stuck in park or neutral. It revs but doesn't move.

Either the linkage has come loose/broke or there is a transmission problem.

I also saw this and realized that I failed to mention that it will go into gear after I leave it off for about 20 minutes or so. Upon the initial star up it will shift into any gear just fine but, once I stop or take my foot off the accelerator pedal and them move back to it the gear is "gone." I just get the revving.

Does the driveshaft turn when you put it in gear? Had an issue with mine thought the rear end was toast. Driveshaft turned but rear end did nothing. L/H axle had come out of the differential just enough to not engage the teeth in the rear shoved it back in and worked fine..
