I have a 2007 Dodge Magnum R/T which has about 85,000 miles on it and never really had an issue with it until now. The check engine light came on the other day and the gear locked at about 50mphs and so I couldn't go any faster. I took it into Auto Zone and the code read "P0717 Turbine/Input Shaft Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal". The check engine light is now off but I have had this issue happen again but not always. Has anyone else had this issue if so what is the best course of action to take? Is this a serious problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you guys.

 

Replace the speed sensor.
