I assume you you got that number off the valve cover. Only a dealer can tell you what that is. If you got it off the VC then the engine part number should be there with it, you can run that (Google) and see what comes up. Otherwise unless you can tell physically that the engine has been removed, there is no way to confirm it. They don't stamp VIN's, etc on engines like back in the old days.

However that decoder (which links here for the build sheet) won't tell you anything about the engine itself other than what the car was built with.
