POOR MPG STILL< STILL< STILL
I ran for 20 miles yesterday at 55mph and was getting around 24-25mpg. Does the mileage go that south when you run at 75mph because at highway speeds, I'm only getting 18-19mpg?
Mostly highway, steady 60, slowing down for towns on my commute, getting 17.5 - 18 tops. If I spend a few days going into and around the city, 15 or so.
I saw no improvement at any mileage, I currently have 19,000 plus miles, and drive smooth and not aggressive, but passing when needed (which admittedly, is often).
Dash mileage is off, on mine it is wrong by about 1 MPG average I think, often more.

If your getting anything over 12mpg with any AWD be happy. Driving an extra set of wheels is the biggest power robber on board. Also be prepared that any mechanical repairs are at least 50% higher too. For me, thats just another big reason to stick with 2wd unless you live way out in the boonies.
Hipster,
Here in Florida we don't get Ethenol, just good old gasoline.
We don't do car polution testing here either.
The air here is so clean that I have the same air filter for over 3 years in my wife's car, it just does not get dirty. I have bought a replacement, just in case.

I picked up at least 3 more mpg when I put a Borla cat back exhaust and a Volant CAI...26 and change hwy with a/c in summer...I would say 20ish around town.. used to be 15ish before..Remote starting and warming up will lower mpg but hey...we can't have everthing............
I know my car is not an RT but recently my mileage on a trip and back & forth to work went down to about 20. 10,000 miles now. Granted on the trip it was full of family, gear and the slightly larger snow tires. Usually i get around 24, 27 once on the freeway. The only difference i can think of on the daily commute is because of the snow tires being 235 vs 215 which should not make that much difference. Puzzled...
Flowmasters and an Airaid intake jumped the mileage on my RT from 14 to 17mpg...all stop and go. On the highway I get about 24 and change. Now that it's winter, I expect that to drop a bit from slogging trough all the crap that comes out of the sky around here.
