I have been pleased with a Kenwood touchscreen DVD player for the head unit. It has video and audio inputs and outputs so I was able to run a video camera to it then feed that signal to the headrests. I can play one movie to 3 screens and through the system or play a movie in each of the players at once with two players feeding wireless headphones.

Wow good job its really nice u did a great job. But see my car already comes with a tv/dvd player and it uses the factory radio to transmit the sound of the movie throught the interior speakers. So how would i install my head unit tv and still be able do use the one in the back???

the deck I have has video and audio outputs as well as inputs so I can feed the signal (DVD or rear-view camera) to my headrests just by routing it that way. Anything played in the head unit comes out of the car's audio system. The two headrests are their own players as well so up to 3 movies can be played at a time, two with audio coming through wireless headsets.
There is a coversion that will allow the stock NAV deck to play DVDs but it will not have video and audio outputs.
