Hello All:

I recently inherited a 2005 Magnum SXT with the v6 engine.
Strange crank issue.
I can hear the starter engage. I can see the belt spin when the key is turned to crank.
Then engine will not try to crank, and will not turn over.

MOST OF THE TIME; ALMOST ALL OF THE TIME.

However, when the engine does crank it starts like a champ, and the car runs like a dream. I've looked for a similar issue for weeks, and either I'm blind or I am yet to find it. I'm finally reaching out for some help if any can be provided.
