I'm confused, I purchased a remote start for my Mag. The "kit" was 82208995-AB. Upon reading the instruction I noted the system requires a PC-12 module or a 82208859. What the heck is that? There aint no critters like that in the box. Is this module under the dash already or am I about to rip my new car apart all over the front yard just to find out its disabled until my PC-12 arrives.. Help!

 

Sounds like a module to "trick" the secruity system into thinking the key is near the ignition switch. Which you will need for the car to keep running after remotely started.
Ours is a Dodge install and the "RKE low battery" comes up on the display only when we use the remote starter, this is telling the security system the key is in the ignition.

Here's what I have learned from Dodge... The 82208995 is the installation kit and DNA card. The module is a 82208859, the other half of the kit. There's actually 3 pieces because you need a model specific wiring harness..
