My first post... I've rebuilt two Hemi Durangos and just took on a Hemi Magnum project. It was half taken apart when I got it so its been an adventure going through boxes of parts and figuring out where everything goes.
I'm stuck on two freakin ground wires. There is one at the back of each side of the fuel injector/coil harness, basically at the back of each side of the intake manifold. They both have pretty small eyelets. They don't fit on the ground bolts at the back of each head. They are both pretty short, not more than a few inches in length. They look like they'd fit on the valve cover studs or maybe on the intake manifold bolts but neither spot seems right.
Does anyone have an idea where these go? I've searched far and wide and can't find any info.
Finally figured it out! For any other poor schlep that runs into this, the two bolts on the back of the heads that hold the coolant pipes and ground wires are those special bolts with studs on the tops. The small ground wires go on the end of the studs.
Where does the ignition capacitor go on the same bolt on the back of the head ? Also where does the long braided bare ground wire go on ? And what about those othe little ones that are supposed to go on the valve covers ?, what location on the covers do they go?
