I need help replacing the pipes on the heater core. We had to buy a new heater core and figured if we bought one that came with pipes it would make more sense. We got the new heater core installed, but the old pipes don’t fit flush with the o-rings and, when looking at the new pipes, it is obvious that the old pipes and new pipes are just different enough to cause problems.
How to I remove that black flange that is blocking me from being able to remove the pipes? I removed the 2 screws, but it will not budge. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!
Under the steering wheel. Under the hood. The raised lip on the pipe makes it to where I can’t just pull it through the front.
