dose anyone know how to remove the dash speaker on the 6 disc boston acustic sound system. looking to replace the with aftermarket speakers. i dont see screws on the top i just hope idont have to romove the dash thanx for any info you can give.

 

The front section between the dash and windshield lifts out. It is held in by 6 or 8 clips. Use a pry tool to get a corner up the just lift. Sounds like something breaks when you lift but it should be ok. Speakers are held in with 2 screws. I have had mine out several times. When putting it back on be sure to get all the clips set or you will have rattles.

 

thanx i will try it tomorrow, however do you meen to start to unsnap on the side corner then work my way to the front of the windshield? and dose the whole dash come off or just part of it

 

Just start on one corner and work your way across. The only part that comes off is the section between the window and the dash.
