Default 1st month questions - love this car!

I’ve had my 2006 Magnum R/T AWD for just over a month (1800 miles) and have noticed a few items and wanted to see what everyone else thinks. Several people have mentioned removing the rear wiper assembly for a smoother look. My rear window seems to stay dirty and wonder if anyone else noticed this problem. Do mud flaps help any or is this just a design issue?

A friend wanted to see the famous HEMI engine one night and when I opened the hood noticed (for the first time) that there isn’t a light under the hood. This is the first car I’ve owned over the last 20+ years that didn’t have a light under the hood. I can’t believe a light would add that much to the cost of the car.

Last item, does anyone know if the 300 or 2005 Magnum had an option for seat memory? I love the power seats, mirrors and pedals, but hate not having a memory function. I thought I saw a picture from a 2005 owner manual (either a Magnum or 300) that showed a memory button. Didn’t know if this was something that could be added to the 2006 cars if the item number was known.

All in all, I love this car. Drives like a dream, can really move when asked, and looks great. Really love the way the magnesium changes color depending on lighting conditions.

Just bought my 2005 Magnum RT yesterday. While reading the Owner's Manual last night, I did see a reference to memory seats. Haven't figured out yet how to configure them. Not sure if my car has it or not. I do have the Electronics Convenience Group and the Convenience Group II options.

One of the side effects of a station wagon, dirty rear end. I have removed the rear wiper assembly and it seemed to hlep a little with the dirt.
Your right no light.
The 300 has memory seats but not available on the Magnum.
Enjoy your Magnum.

THats why I havent pulled out my rear wiper. Mine is a daily driver, even thru the winter. Im hoping someone comes up with a roof type spoiler that sticks up above the factory one to keep the rear clean. Even one on each side corner would work. I may have to build up something myself sooner or later. A nice little wing the imitates the factory one, only about an inch above the roofline with the rear edge turned downward would do the trick.

Anyone found out if the 300 memory option can be added to our Magnums?
