Magnum power steering difficult to turn
Over the past month, the power steering in my '05 RT has gotten very stiff when turning at low speeds. Background:
100K miles
All maintenance (old school) up to date
No leaks in the PS system
Serp belt, pulley and tensioner replaced less that 20K miles ago, not slipping
Just replaced the PS fluid with Mopar ATF+4 (syphoned resevoir 4x, turning lock-to lock 5x in between)
Tire pressure at 32 psi
PS pump relatively quiet
Recently replaced right front tie rod (not sur if its significant or not)
I'd appreciate any thoughts or suggestions on further troubleshooting. Thanks.
